Suggested January 2024 How Robots Will Affect Human Life?
Regarding the impact of robots, there is a major debate among people about whether their effect would be positive or negative. The use of robots is growing around us. The following article aims to list the major effects robots will have on human life.
Free-up WorkloadRobots generally complete work that is monotonous or strenuous for human beings. The
Cheap and ConvenientRobots can bring down the cost of goods and services because it would decrease the price of labour. It would give a greater number of people access to things that might have previously been out of their means. Certain jobs, like crop planting and harvesting, require a great deal of physical strength and fortitude to perform. They also tend to be harder to do. Robots can do all of this work.
Better Availability of Goods and ServicesRobots can make ten times more goods and services than human labour, which would increase the rate of production and the availability of everything to people. For example, if human labour can make ten bowls, a robot would make 100 bowls in its place, which would help a lot more people to have the benefit of using bowls. On the other hand, it would also reduce the manufacturing cost of the bowls and it would make prices of the bowls cheaper. In effect, it would make those products available to people in large numbers.
Balance in Work and Personal lifeHaving help from robots in their everyday work, people will have more balance in their work and personal life. Those who would lose their job due to the automation systems would be able to find new positions and learn new skills. It would also help them to understand the real value that human employees bring to the organisation.

The following article aims to list the major effects robots will have on human life.Robots generally complete work that is monotonous or strenuous for human beings. The aim of making robots is not to replace humans, but it is to free them from the tedium of performing most of the basic and low-level tasks. Tasks like coordinating schedules or managing correspondence do not require human intelligence and they can be easily done by robots. People will be able to concentrate on valuable ways to spend their time. They will also have a lot of free time to do things they like instead of wasting their time cleaning and chúng tôi it comes to healthcare, robots can provide more accurate results in tests and diagnosis than humans. Robots are now used not only in the operating room but also in clinical settings to support health workers and enhance patient care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, hospitals and clinics began deploying robots for a much wider range of tasks to help reduce exposure to pathogens. It’s become clear that the operational efficiencies and risk reduction provided by health robotics offer value in many areas.

9 Autoimmune Diseases That Affect Your Appearance
An autoimmune disease can be defined as a situation wherein a person’s immune system starts attacking the body rather than defending itself from foreign threats such as bacteria and viruses. The immune systems are primarily responsible for protecting the body. There is no definite reason why the immune system sometimes responds to the body this way. There exist more than 100 types of autoimmune diseases in nature. Some of them include systemic lupus, diabetes, and arthritis.
Based on the type of autoimmune disease, the immune system may target and affect different tissues and organs of a person’s body. As a result, the person may feel pain, rashes, fatigue, headaches, nausea, and other effects. For example, arthritis affects the joints and muscles in the human body. Crohn’s disease targets the digestive tract of a human being. Graves’ disease affects the endocrine system of the human being.
Autoimmune diseases affecting the appearanceMany types of autoimmune diseases exist, affecting different organs and tissues of the body. Around nine types of autoimmune diseases exist that affect a person’s appearance. These diseases are discussed in detail as follows −
PsoriasisThis is an inflammatory autoimmune skin disease. This type of disease occurs in a person’s body when the body produces new skin cells too quickly than required. The existing skin cells are not old enough to be shed from the body. As a result of this, the old skin cells and the new skin cells pile up and cause itchy rashes. These effects can be found in the scalp, knees, elbows, and back areas. This type of autoimmune disease can be cured by consistent treatment involving prescribed creams and medications, phototherapies, and some simple changes in the person’s lifestyle.
Alopecia AreataThis autoimmune disease causes the immune system to target and attack a person’s hair follicles. The symptoms of this disease include a person suddenly starting to lose large amounts of hair and causing a circular bald patch in a person’s body. As a result of this disease, a person may lose all the hair present in their body. There does not exist any cure for this type of autoimmune disease yet. However, there are many ways by which hair growth can be regenerated or restarted in a person’s body.
VitiligoThis type of autoimmune disease causes the immune system of the person’s body to target and destroy the body cells that produce pigment. These cells are also called melanocytes. In this situation, the affected area’s skin loses all stains and turns white. The affected areas include hair, eyes, and mouth insides. There is no cure for this autoimmune disease. However, there are many methods by which the pigment can be restored to bring back the skin tone.
HyperthyroidismIn this autoimmune disease, the immune system attacks the thyroid. The thyroid gland produces low thyroid hormones, which slows the overall metabolism. The person experiences dryness in the skin, loss of hair in the body, and weight gain. The general treatment includes taking a pill at regular intervals containing artificially made hormones. The symptoms start improving as soon as the condition returns to normal.
Rheumatoid arthritisIn this autoimmune disease, the immune system attacks the joint tissues. This causes the joints in the hands and feet to become swollen and painful. The symptoms of this disease can be decreased by physical therapies, exercises, and taking standard prescribed medications that reduce the swelling of the joints of the person’s body.
Type 1 Diabetes LupusThis autoimmune disease causes inflammation and rashes in the body when the immune system attacks various tissues and organs. The most common symptom of this type of disease is when a rash that resembles the shape of a butterfly across the nose and cheeks. These can be easily treated by consuming prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs and anti-malarial drugs.
DermatomyositisThis is another inflammatory disease when the immune system attacks the body tissues. The symptoms of this disease include rashes on the face, shoulders, knuckles, and eyelids. This disease is generally found in people aged 5-15 and 40-60. This type of autoimmune disease can be treated with immunosuppressants and corticosteroid medications.
Pernicious AnemiaDue to the absence of a single, overarching cause, the precise mechanism that initiates the beginning of an autoimmune disease might differ from one type of autoimmunity-related sickness to another. This is because there is no single cause. The prevalence rate is roughly 2:1 for females, reflecting that females are more likely to be affected by these diseases. Several autoimmune disorders can affect a woman’s capacity to conceive a child or her hormonal swings. Some of these diseases include lupus and multiple sclerosis. This is probably because male and female chromosomes store information that’s slightly different from one another. There is a connection between genetics and various types of autoimmune diseases. As a result, an individual must have a solid understanding of the history of their own family.
ConclusionPeople at a greater risk of developing an autoimmune disease should make an appointment with their primary care physician to undergo diagnostic testing and examination to determine whether or not they already have an autoimmune disorder. This can be done by determining whether or not they have already been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder. If they are diagnosed, the most important thing for them is to get started as soon as possible on the appropriate treatments and medications for their disease to decrease the toll it takes on their bodies.

With the arrival of the first Patch Tuesday updates of the year, users already had big expectations for what was to come, especially considering how eventful 2023 was.
Well, the January Patch Tuesday updates weren’t a let-down at all, as it brought many fixes to all major version of Windows 10, from version 1507 to version 20H2.
As always, each cumulative update is different than the other, since each version of Windows is different from one another.
Because of this, it’s only natural that some cumulative updates stand out because of what new features they bring, or what system-breaking bug they fix, and that is definitely the case with KB4598229 and KB4598242.
KB4598229 and KB4598242 may affect user certificatesAccording to Microsoft’s own changelog:
System and user certificates might be lost when updating a device from Windows 10, version 1809 or later to a later version of Windows 10.
Devices will only be impacted if they have already installed any Latest cumulative update (LCU) released September 16, 2023 or later and then proceed to update to a later version of Windows 10 from media or an installation source which does not have an LCU released October 13, 2023 or later integrated.
This primarily happens when managed devices are updated using outdated bundles or media through an update management tool such as Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
This might also happen when using outdated physical media or ISO images that do not have the latest updates integrated.
However, Microsoft wanted it to be noted that devices using Windows Update for Business or that connect directly to Windows Update are not impacted.
They added that all devices connecting to Windows Update should always receive the latest versions of the feature update.
They also provided users with a workaround to this feature suggesting that users simply perform a system rollback to before they applied the update.
They also went ahead and provided users with a detailed guide on how to do so too.
Given the changes, we recommend that anyone running Windows 10 v1903/v1909 should postpone the update of their PC until a fix is found.
If you don’t have much experience with how Patch Tuesday works, we’ve prepared an in-depth article where we will guide you every step of the way with useful information.
Additionally, if you don’t want to wait for Patch Tuesday to become available in your region and want it right away, we have created this amazing article that acts as both a changelog and a source of download links from the Windows Update Catalog.

Human Papillomavirus (Hpv) Strains 16 And 18
The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted disease (STD) also referred to as sexually transmitted infection (STI). There are more than 100 types of HPV and they are categorized as low-risk and high-risk HPV. The two most common high-risk HPV strains are HPV 16 and 18 which may lead to a high risk of cervical, vaginal, vulvar, anal and penile cancers.
HPV infections are eventually cleared without treatment within 18 to 24 months and hence, doctors may recommend a watch-and-wait approach as the infected cells are shed naturally for the majority of people. However, if the persistent HPV is type 16 or 18, the affected people are at risk of developing genital, anal or oral cancer depending on the location of the infection. HPV is the most commonly diagnosed STD in the United States and many other countries. According to the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), about 13 million Americans are infected with HPV every year.
Even though HPV is the most common STI, there are certain misconceptions about this disease. HPV may cause skin warts but they are not STDs. It is extremely important to understand the risk factors associated with HPV so that one can take the necessary precautions.
Risk Factors with HPV 16 and 18HPV-infected people may not witness any abnormal symptoms. While HPV can affect anyone and several risk factors could be linked with HPV 16 and 18. The risk of HPV increases if you have multiple sex partners or engage in sex with someone who has had many partners. Moreover, if you are a man and engage in sex with men (MSM), you may be infected with HPV.
If you have Human Immunovirus (HIV) or another health condition which may worsen your immune system, you are at a high risk of being infected by HPV. It is universally known that HPV can be passed through vaginal and anal intercourse. However, it can also spread through oral sex.
HPV can be transmitted by intimate skin-to-skin contact, in areas that are not protected by condoms or if you engage in unprotected sex. Transgender people are equally at risk as compared to others. Research has confirmed that smoking can amplify the risk of HPV-related cervical cancer. People having HPV are also at risk of developing Chlamydia, which is a sexually transmitted bacterial infection.
Cancers and HPVAccording to the CDC, HPV is responsible for about 90% of anal and cervical cancer, 70% of vaginal and vulvar cancers and 60% of penile cancers. HPV testing for cervical cancer is usually performed for women with a Pap test, also known as a Pap smear. HPV testing available for women can determine if HPV is present and if present, can determine whether the HPV is low-risk or high-risk HPV.
Cervical Cancer and HPVWomen may be prone to cervical cancer as HPV-infected cells are often shed from the cervix. Women may develop cervical cancer at a young age as the clearance rate is high and the immune systems are more active in young women.
The American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (ACOG) and CDC recommend that women under 30 years should go for a Pap test every three years or can substitute it with an HPV test every five years. Pap smears are not only used to detect cervical cancer but also HPV-16 and HPV-18 strains that might later lead to cancer. ACOG also recommends that women aged 30 to 65 go for a Pap test every three years or an HPV test every five years or a Pap and HPV test together every five years.
If you test positive for HPV 16 or 18, it doesn’t mean you will develop cervical cancer. But, the dysplasia found in a Pap test may increase the risk of developing cancer. Your doctor can treat dysplasia or conduct more tests to rule out the possibility of cancer. Doctors can monitor the changes to the cervix and can often tell which changes could pose danger.
HPV 16 and Throat CancerHPV 16 can cause cancer of the oropharynx which is commonly known as oropharyngeal cancer or throat cancer. Oral HPV infection and oropharyngeal cancer are very common among men as compared to women. According to the report published in the journal titled ‘Annals of Internal Medicine’ in November 2023, researchers stated that high-risk oral HPV infection is prevalent among men who indulge in the same sex or have more than two oral sex partners.
HPV TreatmentDoctors focus on curing the symptoms of the conditions caused by HPV. There are a few vaccines which may help to prevent HPV infections, but that may not do away with the need for safer sexual practices
HPV VaccineThe HPV vaccine involves two shots which are separated by 6 to 12 months for children aged 9 to 14 years. For people aged 15 to 26 years, three shots could be given over six months. People aged 27 to 45 years can also take the HPV vaccine if they have not been previously vaccinated for HPV. The HPV bivalent vaccine (Cervarix), the HPV quadrivalent vaccine (Gardasil) and the HPV 9-valent vaccine, recombinant (Gardasil 9) may be suggested by the doctors.
Other TreatmentsGenital warts may be cured without any medication within two years. However, if they are not, the genital or anal warts can be treated with prescribed medications such as Aldara (imiquimod) cream, Condylox (podofilox) gel and Veregen (sinecatechins) cream. Furthermore, if these medications fail to cure genital warts, there are other options like cryotherapy, electrocautery, use of the trichloroacetic acid solution and laser therapy.
Generally, the precancerous cells in the cervix are treated by Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP). If an HPV-infected person develops cancer, they may have to consult a doctor to treat their respective cancer.
ConclusionHPV is very common and the majority of people may not experience any peculiar symptoms. HPV infections may not need treatment as they are cured within 18 to 24 months, but if you test positive for HPV, you should consult a doctor immediately.
Untreated HPV infections can often lead to cancers. Getting vaccinated can be one of the best ways to prevent HPV infections, but incorporating safe sex practices can prevent the spread of HPV and reduce the risk of developing cancer.
Tesla Wants To Make Humanoid Robots. Here’s Their Competition.
During Tesla’s AI day last week, Elon Musk unmasked his next creation to come: “friendly” Tesla robots that can perform dangerous, repetitive, and boring tasks like fetching tools for repairs or getting groceries.
In the presentation, Musk explains how this robot is the natural evolution for the tech at Tesla. “Tesla is arguably the biggest robotics company because our cars are semi-sentient robots on wheels,” he boasts. It “makes sense,” he says, to put the cars’ self-driving capabilities and built in neural networks that understand and navigate the world around the car into a humanoid robot form.
[Related: There are two kinds of AI, and the difference is important]
The robot will supposedly stand 5’8” tall and weigh 125 pounds. It will be able to carry up to 45 pounds, deadlift up to 150 pounds, and move at a maximum speed of 5 mph. Musk assures the audience that this robot will be one that humans can run away from and overpower (if necessary). “Hopefully that doesn’t ever happen, but you never know,” he joked. The prototype is expected to come online sometime next year, and the company has put up an open call for team member applications.
The plan? Dress a human up as a robot so that people pay us a lot of money for a nonexistent thing. chúng tôi Ryan Mac 🙃 (@RMac18) August 20, 2023
Critics have issued their doubts about the practicality of Musk’s promise, citing the fact that several companies have already undertaken projects to build robots for mundane labor, and that Musk is severely underestimating the time and work it takes to construct and test even the simplest form of these machines.
Further dampening the hype for Musk’s robot is the fact that the self-driving system which powers Tesla’s cars, and theoretically would power this new robot, has recently been under federal investigation for crashing into emergency vehicles.
Taking into account that Musk is known for being a showman over being a realist, you probably shouldn’t hold your breath for him to deliver this promised product on time.
Musk is not alone in his ambitions. Many companies and universities have been working on robots that can take on human-supporting tasks, from monitoring health, to going on rescue missions, to just being a butler. But, there’s still a wide gap between the types of robot assistants portrayed in movies and TV versus what is possible right now with current research.
Here’s where some of the notable robots stand, and where they seem to be headed.

Boston DynamicsBoston Dynamics, arguably the leader in humanoid robotics, has been testing their tech for almost a decade. The company, previously owned by SoftBank, was acquired by Hyundai Motor Group in June. Their humanoid Atlas robots have undergone several trials to test their agility and motion in different environments. Atlas was first introduced to the public in 2013. Recently, the robot managed to master parkour. Atlas is just under five foot tall, weighs around 196 pounds, and can run at speeds up to 5.6 mph. These robots are still just for research and are not available commercially. However, one of their dog-like robots, Spot, is available for purchase at a ticket price of $74,500.
Agility RoboticsAgility Robotics has their own version of a humanoid work bot called Digit. In 2023, Agility Robotics teamed up with automaker Ford Motor to put Digit to work. Digit has working and adjustable arms and legs that helps it walk around, pick up objects and move them. It uses LiDAR and other sensors to navigate. Now, Ford is testing whether Digit in combination with Ford’s self-driving car can collaborate to make deliveries.
SoftBankSoftBank’s Pepper, introduced in 2014, was one of the first social humanoid robots. At one point, it was available for purchase if you have $2,000 to spare. Pepper has the features of a small child, can mimic upper-body human movements, and can recognize human emotion and pick up non-verbal social cues, creating an illusion of understanding, or what some developers call artificial empathy. Despite stints at the Smithsonian and Buddhist temples, the production of Pepper was put on halt this year, reported The Verge.
Hanson RoboticsHanson Robotics is responsible for creating the uncannily human-like robot Sophia, which came on the scene in 2023. Reuters reported in January that the Hong Kong-based company would start mass-producing four robot models sometime this year, including Sophia. Founder David Hanson told Reuters that these robots could be helpful in healthcare, retail, and airline settings.
Honorable mentionsEven though not all humanoid robots can share the spotlight equally, some are good at specific tasks while others are important as proof-of-concepts. The neural network-run Japanese robot Altar is nothing more than a complex inflatable air dancer, but it provided an example of how coordination and moving in harmony with humans is not an easy thing to teach robots.
Stanford’s OceanOne diving robot was able to retrieve a vase from an underwater shipwreck, hypothetically reducing the need for people to go on dangerous diving missions. However, this aquatic humanoid diver still needs humans to direct it virtually. Samsung has been keen on making at-home robotic health aides. But in practice, these health-monitoring robots work less like Big Hero 6’s Baymax, and more like a Roomba with a Life Alert button.
How To Increase The Battery Life Of Phones?
It is annoying when our smartphone runs out of battery. The more we use the phone features, the more is the battery juice used. So it is necessary to maintain the battery life and make the most from the phone. In this post, I will suggest some ways to extend the battery life in Android Phones or iPhones.
Increase the Battery life of Phones 1] Turn on Battery SaverBattery Saver mode tries to consume minimum power (when kept on) by turning off some features running in the background and increasing the battery life.
Power Saver mode stops updating the live tiles, closes those apps that are running in the background, and stops automatic syncing of mail and calendar.
To turn on Battery Saver, Go to settings, tap Battery saver, and then turn it on.
Battery Saver mode normally gets activated with the battery life falls below 20%, but it can be manually turned on anytime.
2] Turn off Background TasksAlong with the apps in the multitasking panel, there are a few that are running in the background which consumes a lot of battery. Turning off any of these apps that you do not require will dramatically increase the battery life.
3] Turn off Bluetooth, WiFi and NFCMost support Bluetooth sharing of files so keeping the Bluetooth turned on all the time will drain the battery. Also, when the Bluetooth is turned on the phone constantly checks for available accessories that lead to an unnecessary drain of the battery.
Similarly, when the WiFi is turned on it keeps on checking for the available networks and notifies you. So it recommended keeping the WiFi turned off when not in use.
I’m not sure if NFC maintains the battery life when turned off, but from my personal experience it did work out.
4] Keep a dark background themeThe only native customization available on your Phone is the Dark (Black) and Light (White) theme. Using either of the themes does affect the battery life especially if you have a Super AMOLED display. So it is recommended to use the dark background theme for your phone.
5] Keep low brightnessThe automatic brightness level may sometimes keep the brightness high unnecessarily resulting in greater use of the battery. So it is recommended to turn off automatically adjust and select the brightness levels manually as per the ambiance.
6] Keep Cellular data connection turned off whenever, not in useUsing a cellular data connection (HSDPA or LTE) uses a lot of battery. The battery level falls too often when the internet is in use. Almost all the Phones have balanced battery life for HSDPA, but LTE data use maximum battery life. So it is recommended to keep the data connection whenever not needed.
7] Manually synchronize e-mailsPhones synchronize the email accounts in the background after some time interval to check for new mails. The synchronization takes up some amount of battery juice every time and this results in a decrease in, battery life.
To prevent this, the email accounts should be manually synchronized to check for new mails or the time interval between the two synchronizations should be increased.
