Learn how to change your Twitter handle and find out what goes into creating a great Twitter handle for your business.

It’s time to change your Twitter handle. Maybe you’ve grown tired of the name you chose when you joined in 2007, or maybe it just doesn’t represent who you are anymore.

Maybe you’re a business and you’ve gone through a rebrand or name change.

Whatever the reason, changing your Twitter handle is a quick and easy process that will make logging on more enjoyable than ever before.

In this article we’ll go over how to change your Twitter handle from a mobile app (Apple or Android) or desktop computer. The steps for each method are very similar. Here we go!

Bonus: Download the free 30-day plan to grow your Twitter following fast, a daily workbook that will help you establish a Twitter marketing routine and track your growth, so you can show your boss real results after one month.

Open the Twitter app on your iOS device.

Tap “Me” at the bottom of the screen to open your profile page.

Tap on “Edit.”

Enter a new username and tap “Done.”

Go to “Settings and privacy”and tap “Account.”

Tap on “Twitter” and then choose your username.

Log into your account by entering an email address and password

Select “Settings”

Select “Name” at the bottom of this page

Type in a new name (optional)

The best Twitter username or handle for your business is short, memorable, and can be spelled easily. It should also contain the name of your company. For example: the Mercedes Benz Twitter handle is @MercedesBenzUSA.

The reason your Twitter handle should be short and memorable is because you want people to be able to easily find your business on the platform. It’s not the right place to make a joke or be clever. That will make it more difficult for people to find you.

You may want to have multiple Twitter handles for your business.

For example, you could use @CompanyName and then a secondary handle of @Service1 or something like that. That way, people can find the specific service they’re looking for on Twitter while still following your company’s updates in one place.

Mercedes Benz has a different Twitter handle for their press releases and media requests: @MB_Press.

If you’re a global business, you may want to have a separate Twitter handle for

each country. For example, @USAmerica or @Canada.

Mercedes Benz has different Twitter handles for each country they have a major presence in: @MercedesBenzUSA, @MercedesBenzUK, and @MercedesBenzCDN. This lets them speak directly to their regional audiences, who may each have unique needs and preferences.

If your desired username is taken, then you have a few options. First, try using just numbers or letters for the first and last name (e.g., @User3201). If that doesn’t work, use only the first letter of each word in your new handle (@UserB1) or just the beginning number (@User8).

Keep trying different variations until you find one that’s available!

If the account that has the same username is an imposter, then you have a different problem.

Here’s what to do if your business name is being used by an imposter or troll on Twitter:

In your report, mention that this is a false username and that you’re not affiliated with it.

Copy or take a screenshot of any tweets from the imposter account to show proof of their violation against your name or business.

Keep in mind that these accounts are violating Twitter’s terms of service agreement, so they may end up getting taken down anyway.

Keeping imposters from stealing your business name on Twitter or impersonating you online is also a good reason to try and get verified. That way, when people see the blue check mark beside your name, they’ll know it’s really you.

How To Change Time Or Time Zone On Android

By default, Android devices rely on the network providers to relay the time correctly. Andriod devices also rely on the network provider, to determine which time zone you are in. Your network provider tracks your location and updates your time zone when you travel. This is how your device mostly displays the correct time.

If your service provider glitches or you lost your network when traveling, you may get the incorrect time displayed. Your device does not have to rely on your network provider to tell the time. It can also be set to different time zones, without your location being tracked. To do this, you can manually set your time and time zone. Here is how you can manually change the time and time zone of your Android device.

How to change the time manually on Android

You can change time on your Android device either through the Settings app or through the Clock app. Let’s take a look at both the procedures.

Method #1: Change time via the Clock App

Open the Clock app on your device and tap on the ‘3-dot’ menu icon in the top right corner.

Tap and select ‘Settings’.

Now tap on ‘Change date & time’.

Disable the toggle for ‘Use network-provided time’ at the top.

Tap on ‘Time’ which shouldn’t be greyed out anymore.

Set your desired time by dragging around the highlight on the clock.

You can also tap the keyboard icon to manually enter the correct time.

Tap on ‘Ok’ to set the manually entered time.

Additionally, tap and set the correct ‘Date’ in case it is wrong to keep your clock in check.

And that’s it! You will have now set your time manually on your Android device.

Method #2: Change time via the Settings App

To change your device’s time manually, first, open your device setting.

Scroll down and tap on System.

Tap on Date & time.

Note: On Samsung phones, the Date & time settings can be found by opening General management and not System settings. Additionally, depending on your OEM, the location for this option can be slightly different.

Switch off “Use network-provided time”, using the toggle on the right side of the screen.

This will allow you to edit the time. Tap on Time.

Change the time and tap on OK.

This will change the time displayed on your device.

How to change the time zone manually on Andriod

When changing time manually there is the risk of setting an incorrect time. To reduce the risk of being off-time, manually set the time zone of your device. Setting the time zone, allows your device to not rely on the network provider. You can either set a manual time zone using the Settings app or the Clock app. Let’s take a quick look at both of these methods.

Method #1: Via the Clock app

Open the clock app and tap on the ‘3-dot’ menu icon.

Now tap and select ‘Settings’.

Tap on ‘Change date & time’.

Now turn off the toggle for ‘Use network-provided time zone’.

Tap on ‘Time Zone’.

Tap on ‘Region’ to select a region manually.

And that’s it! Your time zone will now be automatically changed based on the region selected by you.

If you find the ‘Time Zone’ section greyed out, do not worry as you only get to select this if your selected region has multiple timezones.

Method #2: Via the Settings app

Open the settings of your device and tap on System.

To open time settings, tap on the Date & time option.

Slide off the toggle on the right side of the screen, to disable “Use network-provided time zone”.

This enables you to select the time zone manually.

Tap on Time zone.

Tap on Region.

From the list, you can scroll or search for the region for your time zone. Select the Region.

If the region has multiple time zones, you will be shown a list of them. From the list, select the time zone you want to set on your device.

This will change the time on your device.

Note: The time you set manually always overrides the time zone. This means that if you set the device’s time manually, it will display that time irrespective of the set timezone. If you want your device to show your time zone’s time, then switch “Use network-provided time” back on and set the time zone manually.

How to set a home clock on Andriod when traveling

When you travel, your phone can help you keep track of the time at your destination as well as back home.

Open the Clock app on your Andriod device.

Tap on the settings icon.

Turn on the Automatic Home Clock feature, by sliding on the toggle on the right side.

This will allow you to select Home Time Zone. Tap on Home Time Zone.

Scroll through the list of time zones, or use the search option, to find the time zone of your home. Select that time zone.

The time zone will be set as your home time zone.

Now, when you travel you can check your home time zone. To do this go to the Clock app and tap on world clock.

This is how you can manually change the time on your Andriod device and set a home time zone as well.

How To Change Your Keyboard On Wear Os Android Smartwatches

If you have owned one for a while now, you will have come to accept that your smartwatch plays a vital role as much as your smartphone. That’s not because your wearable isn’t just something you use to check your well-being but also something you can use to interact with others when your phone isn’t nearby.

One of the most basic things when it comes to learning things that work on Wear OS is to choose your default input method, language, or to know how to change it when you want to. We’ve thus prepared this post to help you do exactly that.

What are Default input methods on Wear OS?

When you start using Wear OS, you are offered two options to choose as your input method – Google Keyboard and Google Handwriting Input.

As you’d expect, the first option gives you a full-size functional keyboard where you can type or glide over to enter words as you please. While you do get all the keys on the same screen, they’re all crammed up with no space between them and if you have large fingertips, you will face challenges typing directly from your watch.

Google Handwriting Input, as the name implies, is for those of you who don’t feel confirmable typing on the Google keyboard. You can enter a letter or partial words by doodling your finger over the space to draw a letter, numbers, or part of a word. This can be a better alternative to Google Keyboard if you don’t like to type on a keyboard on a really small screen.

How to Change your Default Keyboard on Wear OS

Wear OS lets you choose from any of the two native input methods or third-party alternative apps you might install for entering texts the way you wish to. You can set the method or app you like as your default option for typing.

To do that, open the Settings app on your Wear OS watch. You can do that by pressing the crown button or side button, scrolling through the app list, and then tapping on the ‘Settings’ app.

Alternatively, you can access the ‘Settings’ app by unlocking your watch, swiping down from the top of the main screen, and then tapping on the Cogwheel icon at the top of the Quick Settings screen.

When the Settings app launches, scroll down and select the ‘Personalization’ option.

Next, tap on the ‘Input methods’ option.

On the next screen, select ‘Manage keyboards’.

Now, select the keyboard you want to use for everything on your watch. You can also select a keyboard from a third-party app that you may have installed on your watch.

Once done, the selected keyboard is what will appear when you’re about to type something on your watch from now on.

How to Change Default Language for your keyboard

If you wish to stick to the Google Keyboard on Wear OS but want to change the language you want to type on, then you can simply do it from the Settings app without needing any external app.

You can choose your preferred language for Google Keyboard by opening the Settings app on your watch.

On this screen, tap on the ‘Languages’ option.

If you want to select a language other than the one set as your system language, disable the ‘Use system language’ toggle in the next screen.

When you do that, all other languages will now be available for picking.

Select the language you want to set as default on Wear OS.

Once you have selected a language of your choice as you’re preferred option, you can disable the toggle adjacent to the language that was previously set as default.

You can open up any text field on your watch now and Google Keyboard will appear in the language you chose as default.

How to Write Messages without Typing

In case you didn’t know, you can choose to use your voice to script a message instead of typing or doodling on your keyboard on Wear OS.

Note: Scripting a message using your voice on Wear OS requires an internet connection either via the watch’s WiFi or via a Bluetooth connection to your phone (plus internet connection on the phone).

For this, open any app that requires you to type texts. In this instance, we’re using the Google Play Store app’s search field to use your voice to enter a keyword.

When you tap on the search tool or locate a text field, you will be prompted with options to select your preferred input method. Tap on the microphone icon to get to the ‘Speak now’ screen.

If the watch has an active internet connection, then you can directly start dictating your message using your voice.

Wear OS will now transcribe all the things you said. If the transcription is correct, you can tap on the tick mark to submit the text on the messaging app.

If not, you can tap on the microphone icon again to start dictating with your voice correctly.

Best Third-party Keyboard Apps for Wear OS

Although Wear OS’ native input methods do a pretty decent job at giving you a full typing experience on your watch, not everyone might feel at convenience with Google’s offering. The following three alternatives might help if you’re one of those who don’t feel at home with the native input methods on Wear OS.

This app might be the perfect replacement to Google Keyboard as it offers larger keys for easier typing, special characters that aren’t available on the stock keyboard, support for more languages, and more. The app offers swipe gestures for deleting a word and inserting a space. The app can be installed and run on all smartwatches running Wear OS 2 and higher.

For those of you not comfortable with qwerty keyboards but want to experience something conventional a decade ago, you can download this app on your watch. The MultiTap Wear Keyboard gives you T9-like keys where a bunch of alphabets are paired into the same key and to create words, you can using multi-tap and long-press gestures. The app currently supports typing in English, Persian, and Hebrew with support for emojis.

Available as a paid app for $2.49, this app lets you type with fewer keys in a T9 style layout. Unlike others in this list, the KeyOboard app supports a multitude of languages as well as emojis.

That’s all you need to know about typing on a Wear OS device.

How To Change A Memory’s Music On Iphone

Photos on iOS can detect important events, people, or places you capture on your iPhone by compiling the pictures and videos into a slideshow that it calls Memories. With iOS 15, the Memories feature inside the Photos app gets new features like Memory mixes, song suggestions, memory looks, and the ability to add any song available from the Apple Music library.

In this post, we’ll help you understand how you can change the music for memories on iOS 15 Photos.

How to change music for a memory on iPhone

When you play a memory from the Photos app, a song gets automatically applied to it. If you wish to change the song that plays with this memory, you can do it from within the Memories section on your phone. To change music for a memory, open the Photos app on your iPhone and select the ‘For You’ tab at the bottom.

Inside the ‘For You’ screen, select the memory you want to edit from under the ‘Memories’ section. You can choose a different memory from this screen by swiping left/right inside ‘Memories’ or by tapping the ‘See All’ option.

This should open up the editing screen for your memory. From here, tap on the Music button (the one with the music note icon and a ‘+’ sign) at the bottom right corner.

You should now see the ‘Music’ screen pop up. You can look for a track you want to apply from under the sections available – Top Suggestions, Soundtracks, and Apple Music Suggestions. When you tap on a track, Photos will play a preview of it.

Once you’ve found your preferred music to add to the memory, tap on it to select it.

After that, go back to the previous screen and tap on ‘Done’.

The music you selected will appear at the bottom of the Memory Mixes screen.

To view the memory with your newly selected music, tap on an empty area of this screen. When the memory starts playing, you should see the title of the selected music at the top of your screen.

Can you use a song from your iPhone library as Memory music?

No. Apple doesn’t provide a way to choose a song that you have saved on your iPhone as music for your memories. For now, you can choose tunes that are available under Top Suggestions, Soundtracks, and Apple Music Suggestions. Among these three sections, you can choose any song from the first two sections for free. Tracks that are suggested from Apple Music can only be applied to memories if you have an Apple Music subscription.

Can you choose a Spotify track for a memory?

No, you cannot set your memory music from your favorite tracks on Spotify. At this time, Apple only allows you to choose music as a memory from its Apple Music app and not from any other service. That itself will only be possible if you have an active Apple Music subscription on your iPhone. There’s also a limitation on which tracks can be applied as memory music as you can only choose those songs from the Apple Music library that are suggested to you based on your preferences or songs played at the time.

That’s all there is to know about changing music for memories inside iOS 15 Photos.

How To Change Your Username Or Display Name In Roblox

Roblox is one of the most popular online games, especially among the younger demographics. It gives players the ability to not only play games, but also to create their own. It’s both an entertainment and a creation platform.

Table of Contents

How to Change Your Username in Roblox

Roblox is user-friendly and its account settings page is a perfect example. The user can access and tweak the relevant options in the account with ease. Here’s how to change your username and your display name.

Log into Roblox.

Select the Settings icon in the top-right corner and choose Settings.

Select the pencil icon beside your username.

You are required to spend 1,000 Robox, the digital currency of the game, in order to change your username. Enter your desired new username and your account password.

Select Buy.

If successful, another prompt appears that says Successfully changed username. Select Okay.

You can change your username as often as you want, but be aware that every change costs 1,000 Robux. You will see a list of all of your previous usernames under the Account Settings menu. However, changing your display name costs nothing.

How to Change Your Display Name in Roblox

Your display name is how the rest of the players in the game see you. You can change this name for free once every seven days. This allows players to try on a lot of different personas until they find the name that best fits them. Here’s how.

Log into Roblox.

Select the Settings icon in the top-right corner and choose Settings.

Select the pencil icon beside your display name.

Enter your new display name and select Save.

Your new display name will take the place of your old one. While your username has to be unique, your display name can be shared with another user.

Name Change Restrictions

Although Roblox makes it easy to change your username at will, there are a few restrictions you have to bear in mind.

You can’t choose a username that’s in use by another account.

You can’t swap usernames with an alternate account.

You won’t receive a discounted cost for making a small change to your username, like changing capitalization.

Other players can still see your previous usernames, so you can’t change your name to hide from another player.

Your account creation date will remain the same throughout the changes.

Although you can’t hide your previous usernames from other players, there is a benefit to Roblox storing them. You can easily swap back to a previous username from the menu, but bear in mind that it will still cost 1,000 Robux no matter what.

Usernames must also pass human and automated filters for appropriateness. While automated filters will catch obvious obscenities, human reviewers will note anyone that tries to circumvent the filters. Doing so can result in a ban.

How to Buy Robux

Robux is the digital currency in the world of Roblox. It’s used to pay for username changes, as well as avatar accessories and in-game upgrades. There are several ways to purchase this currency in-game.

Log into Roblox.

Select the Robux tab.

You can purchase Robux directly or pay a monthly subscription which yields a better value. Select one of the following options.

Select between Credit Card, Debit Card, Paypal, Roblox Gift Card, or Other payment methods.

Select Continue.

Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your credit card or Paypal information and finalize the purchase. If you attempt to change your username and do not have enough Robux to make the purchase, the menu will ask if you would like to purchase the necessary amount of Robux.

Roblox is a kid-appropriate game; in fact, some surveys suggest that more than 50% of kids under the age of 16 have played Roblox at some point in the past year. The game is poised to take the place of Minecraft and become a phenomenon, which makes it worth checking out.

How To Turn Off Your Iphone 11 Or Iphone X

No matter how frequently you use your iPhone, you shouldn’t have to turn it off very often. Even if you are not going to use it for a few hours or a few days, you rarely need to turn it off. However, if you are not going to use your phone for more than a few days and want to save every ounce of battery life possible, shutting it down cannot hurt. The same can be said if you think your phone has a bug or an app will not open. Shutting it down could very well resolve those issues. How do you turn off a newer model of iPhone? Let’s take a look at all of the necessary steps.

How to Turn Off iPhone X and Later

As it stands today, the following steps all work for Apple’s most recent iPhones including the iPhone X and later. This includes the iPhone X, XR, iPhone 11/11 Pro/11 Pro Max and the recently announced iPhone 12/12 mini/12 Pro and 12 Max. For each of the aforementioned devices, there are a few different ways to completely shut off your iPhone.

Method 1:

1. Start by pressing and holding either of the two volume buttons (just one, not both) and the right-side power button simultaneously.

2. After holding down these buttons for a few seconds, a slider will appear on the screen.

3. Drag the slider to the right to power off your iPhone. Note that the iPhone can take a few moments to completely shut down.

Method 2:

1. This method relies on the settings menu (iOS 11 and later), so start by opening the iPhone settings app.

2. Go to General and start scrolling all the way down until you see text in blue labeled “Shut Down.” It’s at the very bottom of the menu.

3. Tap on “Shut Down,” and after a second or two, the same slider from Method 1 will appear. Go ahead and drag the slider to the right, and your iPhone will begin to power down.

How to Restart without Any Buttons

This method is really specific for anyone who has an iPhone with buttons that are not working or already using AssistiveTouch. Unfortunately, iOS 11 and later do not allow you to power the iPhone down using AssistiveTouch but they do allow you to restart the device.

2. Once AssistiveTouch is activated, tap on the slider next to AssistiveTouch, which then adds a touch-based home screen button on your iPhone.

While the AssistiveTouch method does not allow you to completely shut a device down, restarting is often the next best thing.

Now that you know how to turn off your iPhone, find out the best widgets for your iPhone and how to set a sleep music timer on your iPhone.
