Introduction to How to Connect Database to PHPTo make optimum usage of any database, one should be able to manipulate it as required. The best way to manipulate and manage the databases you created is to connect your database with PHP. First, let us understand what PHP is. PHP is like a control panel that can be used to manage your database. Connecting to PHP allows you to retrieve data from databases as needed for a particular query. MySQL is the most popular open-source RDBMS, which can be easily connected to PHP. MySQL organizes data in tables using a row and column structure. As a result, MySQL is suitable for both small and large applications, and it operates on the server.

How to Create a Database?Creating a database in MySQL is as simple as performing a single command in SQL. For example, an easy query of “[CREATE DATABASE]” can be used for database creation for beginners. Another database creation option is using another query as “[CREATE SCHEMA].”
Adding more parameters and avoiding confusion between existing databases on a single MySQL server can use the command “[IF NOT EXISTS].” This query checks whether any existing database has the same name. If yes, the command will not execute the creation of the database. On the other hand, if there is no such conflict of database names, the below command will execute and create a database. Although “[IF NOT EXISTS]” is non-mandatory, it is a good practice.
This newly created database will be empty, waiting for the inclusion of tables with data. SQL command for tables is a simple query “[CREATE TABLE]” with syntax as below.

Connecting Database to PHPPHP versions below 5 use MySQL extension. But this extension was derogated in 2012.
The 5th version of PHP and newer versions can work with below:
1. MySQLi extension
2. PDO (PHP Data Objects)
According to their own supremacy and needs, any of the above options can be utilized.
The MySQLi extension can be used only with MySQL databases, whereas PDO can connect with 12 different database systems. So, PDO might be helpful if one is switching databases as it only requires changing a few connections. But in the case of MySQLi, we need to write the entire code and query to switch databases. Enabling MySQLi on PHP is necessary to work with MySQLi. MySQLi also provides a procedural programming interface along with an object-oriented one. PDO and MySQLi support prepared statements, which are crucial aspects of web security.
Working with PHP and MySQLPHP and MySQL are some of the most common stacks for web development.
Object-oriented MySQLi
Procedural MySQLi
PDO
To start with any of these, you must know some essential details, such as your database system’s server address, username, database name, and password. Mainly, we will be using mysqli_connect in all three procedures. This command sets up a connection between the database and PHP. First of all, we have to create a separate connection file. This saves time in writing code every time you want to insert data and information from the database and insert this data in multiple files.
Let’s look into each of them one by one:
1. Using Object-Oriented MySQLiThis can be used to build an association with the database using PHP script using the following syntax.
Explanation:
Localhost is the location of the server. The host can be something else, but the server runs on the localhost in most cases.
The username is the root, and the password; is the same which you use for php admin.
To establish this link, provide the necessary details such as localhost, username, and password. This will create an instance of MySQLi, resulting in a successful connection.
2. Using MySQLi ProceduralTo establish a connection between the database and PHP using MySQLi procedural, you can follow the procedure outlined below:
Explanation:
The main difference for the procedural procedure is that it uses the function mysqli_connect, which fetches the necessary details of the host, username, and password, etc. When successfully connected, it will provide a link identifier.
3. Using PDOPDO represents PHP Data objects. So in this process of creating a connection, PHP data objects are used as below:
The exception function in PDO assists in throwing and handling any exceptions that may arise while establishing connections, ensuring proper management of any encountered issues.
All the above methods help access and manage the database you need.
Checking the Connection:Below syntax can be used to check whether your connection is successfully connected.
Db_connection is the php file name.
Ending the Connection:Once you establish a database connection using PHP scripts, you should close the connection once your work is finished. With an assumption of reference to the connection stored in the $ conn variable, below are the closing syntax used in the above-given procedures.
Using MySQLi object-oriented procedure
Using MySQLi procedural procedure
Using PDO procedure
Conclusion – How to Connect Database to PHP?Accessing and managing your database becomes straightforward when you establish a connection using PHP. It also offers a variety of ways to establish this connection to suit varying levels of requirements. After establishing the connection, you can actively execute queries to extract data from the tables. You can easily print out this information. Closing the connection is an essential part of connecting the database to PHP, and it should be done once your work is completed.

How To Connect Django Database?
Introduction to Django Database
Django uses SQL, a Structured Query Language, to perform different operation crud operations. Typically SQL contains the complex query for creating, updating, and deleting data. Django supports databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQLite, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB; we can use anyone per our requirements. On the other hand, Django supports many other features of all types of databases. For example, Django usually has an ORM feature, Object Relational Mapper; it allows the developer to map the data between the Django application model and database without any SQL queries; the ORM uses the model classes to interact with data.

Overview of Django DatabaseThe Django structure is a free, open-source system that fosters web applications. This Python-based structure comprises verification, content administration, and data set communications that you can use to make any web application.
Django’s most impressive and valuable highlight is its Object-Relational Mapper (ORM). The ORM allows designers to plan information between application models and data sets without composing SQL questions. For example, the Object-Relational Mapper will plan object credits characterized in Django model classes to the comparing fields in the data set and communicate with the information as essential from a given data set. This allows engineers to quickly foster their applications, eliminating the need to compose separate SQL questions for information base exchanges.
The Django system Model-View-Template (MVT) engineering is planned so designers can change the frontend visual construction of an application without influencing the fundamental backend rationale. This is particularly valuable while connecting with information bases. When a Django web application is designed, an SQLite information base is naturally made.
How to Connect Django Database? We know that Django supports different types of databases; here, we will see how we can connect Django with MySQL as follows:
First, we need to consider the following prerequisites as follows:
Installation of MySQL server with 5.7 + version
Installation of Python 3.0+ version
Here consider we already installed MySQL and Python and follow the below steps as follows:
First, we need to create a virtual environment with the help of the below command as follows:
Code:
mkdir stud_management cd stud_managementAfter that, we need to set the virtual environment for the newly created project, so we need to install the virtual environment using the below command.
Code:
pip install virtualenv virtualenv envNow we have a virtual environment, so start the Django project using the below command.
Code:
django-admin startproject stud_management cd stud_management django-admin startapp studentNow we can check the chúng tôi file of our application, as shown below code.
Code:
INSTALLED_APPS = [ 'django.contrib.admin', 'django.contrib.auth', 'django.contrib.contenttypes', 'django.contrib.sessions', 'django.contrib.messages', 'django.contrib.staticfiles', ' student ', ]Now we need to run the server with the help of the below command as follows.
Code:
python chúng tôi runserverAfter executing the above command, we get an IP address on the terminal, as shown below screenshot.
Output:
Next, we need to create a new database in MySQL workbench, or we can use the shell for creating a database.
After logging into MySQL, we will get the following screenshot below.
Creating Django DatabaseNow let’s see how we can create a database in Django as follows:
Here we will see the MySQL database in different steps as follows:
Of course, when we made our first application and began the server, you probably saw another record in your task registry named ‘db.sqlite3’. The record is an information base document where every one of the information that you will create will be put away as shown below screenshot as follows.
First, we need to make some changes in the chúng tôi file as follows:
Code:
DATABASE = { 'deafult': { 'ENGINE':django.db.backends.sqlite3, 'NAME':os.path.join(DIR,'db,sqlite3'), } }Explanation:
In the above example, we can see how to establish a database connection; here, we have two different terms as follows:
ENGINE: It determines the library used when associated with a specific site. In the end, we need to put the record, “Django.db.backends.sqlite3”, which is the Python library for the sqlite3 data set and will make an interpretation of your Python code to the data set language.
NAME: Here, you will have the name of the information base you are utilizing and the area of your data set. This boundary changes as indicated by the information base you are using. Here you can explore different avenues regarding the information base document.
Now we need to execute the below command as follows:
Code:
python chúng tôi migrate python chúng tôi runserverExplanation:
After executing the above command, we see a new database was created, as shown in the screenshot below.
First, we need to open MySQL on the terminal and connect with the server, as shown in the below screenshot.
Now here, we need to create a new database with the help of the below screenshot as follows:
Code:
create database dsample;Explanation:
After execution of the above query, we can see the newly created database as shown below screenshot as follows:
Now we need to update the chúng tôi file as follows:
Code:
DATABASES = { 'default': { 'ENGINE': 'django.db.backends.mysql', 'NAME': 'dsample', 'USER': 'root', 'PASSWORD': '******', 'HOST': '127.0.0.1', 'PORT': '8080', } }After that, we need to install mysqlclient packages with the below command as follows:
Code:
pip install mysqlclientNow run the migration command.
Finally, change the database as per our requirements.
ConclusionWith the help of the above article, we saw about the Django database. From this article, we saw basic things about the Django database and the features and installation of the Django database, and how we use it in the Django database.

We’ll walk you through everything you need to know, with the choice of a video demonstration or an easy to follow step-by-step guide.
Chromebooks are great lightweight laptops for those working with a limited budget, and you’ll be pleased to know that they aren’t lacking in compatibility for external devices such as AirPods, much in the same vain as other laptops.
Can I connect AirPods to my Chromebook? Chromebook compatibility explained
AirPods connect to laptops and other devices via Bluetooth, so as long as your Chromebook has an operational Bluetooth connection, you should be able to connect the two with no problem.
However, be aware that you won’t get the same functionality out of your AirPods with a Chromebook as you would if you connected them to an Apple device such as a MacBook, iPad, iPhone, or other iOS product. For instance, you won’t be able to use Siri, or additional features like Spatial Audio / Dolby Atmos, or AirPod battery detection. Compared to connecting AirPods to an iPhone, the pairing of the devices will be slower, possibly less stable (more liable to connection failures), and also drain the battery life of your AirPods quicker.
How do you connect AirPods to a Chromebook?
Step
1
Put the AirPods inside the charging case
Before beginning with the connecting process, put the AirPods inside their charging case and close the lid.
You need to make sure that the AirPods are sufficiently charged up before continuing: at least 25% battery life is the recommended minimum, but the more charged the better.
Step
2
Press the Setup Button
Once the AirPods battery is sufficiently charged, open the case again.
Next, press the circular Setup Button on the back of the AirPods case (as pictured) until the light flashes. Newer AirPods and the AirPod Pro typically have this light located on the outside, whereas older models may have it on the inside.
Step
3
Ensure Bluetooth is switched on
You should see a Bluetooth icon within the menu (as pictured). Make sure this is switched to On using the small drop-down menu beneath the icon.
Step
4
Scan for Bluetooth devices

How To Connect A Ps4 Controller To Windows 10
There are a number of ways to connect your PS4 controller to your PC, and we have them all covered here.
Connect PS4 Controller via BluetoothIn the new window, make sure Bluetooth is set to “On.”
With your controller off, hold the “Share” and “PS” buttons on the DualShock 4 until the light bar starts flashing.
Your controller is now connected, and you can play any game that has support for the PS4 controller (such as the excellent Rocket League) as well as any games you may have running on emulators. It’s worth noting that the vast majority of controller-compatible Steam games are only compatible with Xbox controllers, but we’ll get to that in a moment.
Connect PS4 Controller via USB CableIf you don’t have Bluetooth, connect your PS4 controller to your PC using a micro-USB cable, and you’re good to go.
Use PS4 Controller as Xinput/Xbox ControllerIt’s less of a problem than it used to be, but there are still many games out there that support Xbox controllers but not PS4 controllers (particularly with games outside of Steam). To maximize the compatibility of your PS4 controller, register it as an Xinput controller, which will essentially make Windows read it as an Xbox controller.
The best tool for this is DS4Windows, an open-source app that lets you reprogram your PS4 controller as an Xinput controller.
Once your PS4 controller is connected via Bluetooth or USB, open DS4Windows, and it will automatically turn your PS4 controller into an Xinput controller.
There are fun things to play around with in DS4Windows, like using the PS4 trackpad as a mouse on your PC, changing the controller light colors, getting it to flash when you have low battery and so on. Have a play-around with it. It’s a great tool!
Use PS4 Controller on SteamSo with your PS4 controller now registered for Windows, for Steam to acknowledge it, open Steam, which will automatically convert your PS4 controller to work with your games, even if they’re designed to work with Xbox controllers.
In Big Picture mode, select a game in your library that doesn’t support controllers, go to “Manage Game” in the pane on the left, then “Controller Configuration.” Here you’ll be able to set up bespoke PS4 controls for your keyboard-and-mouse game. Roll on the big-screen gamepad sessions of Civilization or Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind!
And that’s it! You’re now using the best gamepad in the world on the best gaming platform in the world. And what better way to celebrate by using it to play PS1 games on your PC or, if your PC can handle it, play PS3 games on your PC.
