Suggested March 2024 How To Recite The Qur’An Perfectly: 8 Steps (With Pictures)
Learn Tajweed rules. Tajweed is an Arabic word meaning ‘proficiency’ or ‘doing something well’. It is also known as elocution. It teaches you how to pronounce certain words so that you can recite the Qur’an properly. Every letter is pronounced specifically from a certain part of the mouth, and it is obligatory to recite the Qur’an as it is written, and if you apply all the rules of Tajweed, then that is much better. The Qur’an says, Or add to it, and recite the Qur’an with measured recitation, which implies reading the Qur’an with Tajweed or with care.
Take each rule one at a time. There are many rules in Tajweed, and it can be daunting to memorize them all. Luckily, some Qur’ans are color-coded to help you identify some of the Tajweed rules. However, you should take your time when learning Tajweed; learn a specific rule, then practice using that rule.
Pay attention to what you are reciting. If possible, have a translation copy so you can understand the meaning of the Qur’an. Make sure you recite the Qur’an in a quiet, clean place, where there will be no distractions.
Do not be afraid of mistakes. For some non-native Arabic speakers, perfecting the sounds of some letters and words can be very difficult. However, it takes time to master Tajweed, and if you persevere and put effort, you will get the reward of trying. This was narrated by the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: “The one who is proficient in the recitation of the Qur’an will be with the honourable and obedient scribes (angels) and he who recites the Qur’an and finds it difficult to recite, doing his best to recite it in the best way possible, will have a double reward.”
Start from short chapters. Don’t push yourself too much, so start with short chapters, such as Chapter 114 (An-Nas). Start with small chapters, pay attention, follow the rules and recite gently. If you can, listen to an audio recorder of a Qari (reciter) reading it, so you can follow along and take lessons from their recitation.
Take time out. Leave about half an hour out of your daily schedule to read the Qur’an. If you don’t put effort into it, you’ll never be able to recite the Qur’an perfectly. So when you do get a chance to read it, make full use of it. Limit any distractions and do not rush.
Listen to famous reciters. They are people who have studied under the most renowned scholars and who have dedicated their life to the study of Tajweed. The more you listen and imitate them, the more you will master reciting the Quran. Try to listen to the likes of Saad El Ghamidi, Abdul Rahman Al Sudais, Mishary Rashid Al-afasy, and Abdul Basit Abdus Samad. Their voices are distinct due to their Tajweed and the melody with which they recite the Qur’an.
Learn the meaning. Put your soul and emotion into reading the Qur’an, and be humble when reading the words of Allah. Try to learn some of the Arabic words that are used throughout the Qur’an, and definitely read the translation to understand what is being said.

About the author
I sometimes find myself amazed at just how some people approach public relations. Public relations or PR is all about one thing: enhancing a company’s reputation.
Consumers don’t expect companies or people to be perfect but they do expect them to own up to problems right away and offer a remedy, not excuses for what has gone wrong. Sure, the threat of legal action often looms large in slowing corporate responsiveness, but leniency can be received from the affected parties when a remedy and sincere apology are offered.
But it is often the little things that mess up PR or at least takes the wind out of its sails. Whether you consider yourself a journalist, writer or blogger, there are certain things you want to get from businesses when considering running their story or using it as a springboard for a fresh discussion.
Specifically, any one of the following points can spell the difference between a company winning or losing the PR battle:
Generalized Release — Sharing news via a press release is still an important way for getting the word out. So why do some companies send out their news without taking the time to address that information to an actual person and adding a personalized note? Never assume that your news will get read or shared if you’re too lazy to connect with key influencers. Anything less is considered spam.
Belittling the Competition — Competitiveness is to be admired, but it shouldn’t happen at the expense of putting down a competing product. Consumers are much more sophisticated than what you suppose and are looking for solid, factual information. If you have something to say about your competitor’s product offering, then do so by explaining how your product lasts longer or performs better under certain conditions. Brand loyal consumers don’t take kindly to having their favorite products bashed and won’t make the switch if you make them feel stupid for buying a competing product.
Say What?! — Clarity, brevity and common sense are attributes of any good news story. Your news wins if you make your points succinctly, but you’ll lose if you’re long winded, off topic or offer news that is not clearly defined.
As companies work to build up their reputation it makes sense to elicit feedback from a dispassionate third party first to see if a proposed PR campaign is strong. An idea hatched in the bowels of the corporate marketing department may make sense to the PR wonks, but do lasting damage if ill-conceived or presented without proper care.
In our almost all-digital world, the loss of data can be devastating, especially if that data happens to be a Skyrim save you’ve sunk hundreds of hours into. The good news is that cloud storage makes it possible to back your data up for any reason, whether you are wiping your console—or because you know if you have to start over, you’re going to play a stealth archer and it will all be over.
The process to backup PS4 data to the cloud is simple. You only need a PlayStation Plus subscription to access PlayStation’s cloud storage options. You can get a single month for as little as $10 per month, but the more cost-effective option is to invest for a year at a time, or roughly $60 per year.
Table of ContentsHow To Backup PS4 Data To The Cloud
The most obvious (and common) use for PS4 cloud storage is to ensure your saved games are not lost if your console is damaged. Another great reason is to transfer save data from one console to another; for example, to show off something in a game to a friend. No matter the reason, here’s how to get started.
Go to the PlayStation 4 main menu by pressing the PlayStation button on your controller. From there, make your way to the Settings menu—the toolbox icon at the far-right beside the power icon.
From here, scroll down the menu until you find Application Saved Data Management. You will then see four different menu options:
Saved Data in System Storage
Saved Data in Online Storage
Saved Data on USB Storage Device
Any game you choose will automatically upload its data to the cloud whenever the PlayStation 4 enters Rest Mode, provided you have Stay Connected to the Internet selected in power settings.
Of course, this isn’t the only method for uploading save data to the cloud. How To Upload Save Data To The Cloud From The Main Menu
First, select the game in the main menu that you want to upload. When you find it, press the Options button on your controller. A menu will pop in from the right side of the screen. The first option is to Upload/Download Saved Data.
The second setting is the best one to choose if you have multiple saved files and only want to back up the most recent. However, if you don’t use cloud storage often and you want the quick and easy version, just choose Upload All.
If you choose to automatically upload your data to the cloud, it may take several hours before it’s all available, depending on the speed of your Internet connection. Keep in mind that first-generation PlayStation 4s are notorious for poor Wi-Fi cards, so if you want to upload your information quickly, use an Ethernet cable.Backing Up PS4 Data Without a PlayStation Plus Subscription
While PS+ is a great value with the number of free games and cloud storage it provides, many people don’t care about the games and find that paying $60 per year (or more) is a lot of money just for cloud storage.
If you only have a few specific saved files you want to protect, you can do so for free. Just use a USB card instead of cloud storage. Go to the Settings menu and choose Application Saved Data Management again. Instead of choosing Auto-Upload, select Saved Data in System Storage and then choose Copy to USB Storage Device.
Once you choose the USB medium you want to save the data to, you just have to sit back and wait—and remember to keep the drive in a safe place!
No matter your reason for backing up your data, it’s a good idea to know how. Nothing is more devastating than losing your favorite save file and being forced to start all over again from scratch.
