Frisbee is one of the most accessible sports to learn. There is a simple rule involved, and that is not to overthink things. If you are reading this, there is a good chance you have seen a Frisbee somewhere and wondered if it was something you could play too.

If so, read on because we will let you in on our favorite backyard secret for introducing people to the world of throwing discs without them realizing it first! When playing with friends or family, everyone wants to participate and catch what’s being thrown instead of just sitting on the sidelines and watching everyone else. Here is the step-by-step guide on throwing a Frisbee wall to impress your friends when they come over.

Step 1: Start with Field Preparation

Before you start throwing, you need to clear your field. If the grass is shorter and there are leaves on the ground, it will make it easier to catch the disc. Another thing to think about is the terrain. If there is too much variation in height between where the thrower is standing and where the disc lands, it can be challenging for your team to catch it. If there are rocks, mulch, or other objects in your yard, clear them away before throwing them. It can be hard to throw a consistent line if there is something in the way that could cause the disc to go off course. The best way to avoid that is to go for a plain ground where you can play easily.

Step 2: Hold the Frisbee and have a Good Grip

Maintain a firm grasp on the disc at all times, especially suitable before you toss the frisbee so that you don’t lose it. This hold needs to be solid, but it should be tight enough. The grip must be sufficiently loose to manipulate the disc quickly. If you have difficulty understanding this concept, you can visualize a rice bowl in your palm.

If you have a good amount of Rice flour in the palm of your hand, you should have little trouble getting a good hold on the disc. If you are having difficulty with this, consider using a finger glove instead. A finger glove is a thin glove that covers only the fingers and can be worn on the hand. Because wearing this glove will make you feel like there is more rice on your hand, you will have a more vital ability to maintain a firm grasp on the disc.

Step 3: Start throwing with your dominant hand

When learning to throw a Frisbee, you will want to start with a throwing technique using the dominant hand. This is so that you get used to the feel of the disc and get a better idea of which hand is the best for throwing it. You should always throw the disc with your dominant hand. It is because you will likely throw crooked when you start practicing with your non-dominant hand.

It is because your non-dominant hand is usually a little off from what you are used to with your dominant hand. When you throw with your dominant hand, you will want to ensure that you are relaxed and that your arm is straight at your side. The biggest mistake people make when learning how to throw a Frisbee is that they try to force the disc. Your goal is to create a simple, soft throw when you are throwing. It is not like a tennis shot where you are trying to hit it hard with a special force. Keep your arm smooth and relaxed, and let the disc do the work.

Start 4: Move your feet when Throwing

The second thing you need to remember when throwing is to keep your feet planted and only shift them when necessary. When trying to throw a Frisbee, the most typical mistake that individuals make is they try to step into the throw rather than stepping out of it.

Because of this, the disc will be thrown in a different direction than the one in which you intend to hurl it. When you pitch, you want to be as calm as possible since if you are tense and inflexible, your throw will likely be off-center. Put it with both feet firmly planted and your arms in a comfortable position.

Step 5: Don’t throw too Far from Everyone Else

The last thing to remember when throwing a Frisbee is that you want to stay behind everyone else. This can be tricky because you don’t want to throw the disc too far ahead of yourself. When you start practicing, you want to stay about 10-15 feet behind everyone else.

This will give you time to catch it well if you miss a catch. Nothing is worse than going first and throwing the disc to a reasonable distance ahead of the rest of your team.

This can be uncomfortable, but it is also a great sign that you are throwing the disc too far ahead of everyone else. It is easy to get off-center and throw the disc off in a different direction than you want. If you stay behind everyone else and throw the disc where everyone else is, you are in a good spot.

Conclusion

If you give throwing a Frisbee a try, you’ll quickly conclude that it’s pretty simple. If you can remember a few simple rules, you’ll soon be able to throw a disc without difficulty. All you need to do is recall the essential criteria. If you have friends interested in learning how to throw a disc, you can begin by standing some distance behind them and tossing the disc to them. This will get them used to the motion of throwing the disc.

When tossing it at them, it is essential to keep in mind to stay behind them and prevent yourself from throwing it too far ahead of them. Frisbee is a game that may be fun to play with your friends, but if you ask random people over, you can also have a wonderful time playing it with them.

How To Add A Signature To A Word Document

Today, many documents are exchanged in digital format – even official ones. You may need to have some documents signed before sending them on their way. The good news is that the popular text editor, Microsoft Word, offers options to add a signature. Learn how to use it to sign your documents digitally.

You can also convert a PDF to Word and make it editable before signing.

How to Add a Handwritten Signature in Word

It’s easy to add your handwritten signature to Word to make the document look more professional. You don’t even need an image of your signature beforehand, as you can create it on the spot.

Note: you can’t add a signature from the mobile Word app – only from your PC.

PC

Select “Insert” from the ribbon at the top, then “Pictures.”

Tip: if OneDrive is experiencing syncing issues, learn how to troubleshoot it.

If you don’t have the signature image at hand and use Word Office 2023 (or later), you can use the Draw tab (next to Insert) to draw the signature in Word. Alternatively, you can open Paint (so that you don’t have to install another program on your PC) to draw your signature.

Select the kind of pen at the top that you want to write with, the color you wish to write in, and the thickness of the line.

It’s possible to resize the signature as a whole or enlarge or shrink certain parts of your signature.

Web

Open Word in your web browser.

Find a picture showing your signature, if you have one at hand.

In the overlay that appears, switch to the “Draw” tab and select the type of pen you’d like to write with. Alternatively, select “Draw with touch” (the last icon in the menu bar) and draw your signature.

Press “Save and Close” to insert the drawing into your document.

Working on a document after sundown? Turn Word dark mode on to give your eyes a break.

How to Save a Signature With Text for Later Use

If you wish to add a few more details to your signature, such as your email, address, or title, you can save the entire block of information for later use with the steps below.

Type the information that you need underneath the image containing your signature.

Select “Save selection to Quick Part Gallery” from the options that appear.

Name your selection in the pop-up that appears and hit “OK.”

How to Add a Signature Line in Word

Another Word option will add a signature line to your document so that you can print the document and sign it (or get it signed) or digitally sign it using the options in Word.

In the pop-up window that appears, input additional details, such as “Suggested signer” and “Suggested signer’s title.”

The signature line should appear in the spot indicated.

Tip: make your documents more interactive by adding videos in Word.

Obtain a Digital Certificate

You’ll need to create a digital certificate to add a digital signature to your document. Fortunately, Word has a tool for that.

Navigate to the program’s installation folder and access the “root” subfolder. In our case, it’s “C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficerootOffice16.”

Name your certificate in the pop-up window that appears.

A new pop-up window will appear.

Once the digital signature has been added to the document, the receiver can’t edit the document, as the signature will be removed.

Another aspect that should be highlighted here is that the people you send the document to can’t verify the authenticity of your digital signature; their only option is to trust your self-signed certificate. Therefore, if the document you want to send is official in nature, you may have to purchase a digital certificate from a third-party certificate authority.

How to Export a Signed Document

Exporting a document that you’ve signed using a written signature or a signature line as a PDF is pretty simple.

Open Word and select “File” from the ribbon.

Select “Export” from the menu on the left.

Select “Create PDF/XPS Document.”

Give the document a name and select where you want to save it.

Ready for another Word tip? Learn how to insert the degree symbol in Microsoft Word.

Bonus: Add a Signature to Word With an Add-In

You can also opt for an add-in (similar to extensions in browsers) to add a handwritten signature.

A new pop-up will appear. Use it to search for “Impression Add-in,” then press the “Add” button to bring the Impression Signatures add-in to Word.

A new “Impression” option will appear in the ribbon. Tap it and select “Sign my documents” in the upper-left corner.

A new window will show up on the right. Opt for the “Free Trial” option, sign in with an account, then proceed to “Sign your document” in a separate window.

Once you’ve created and added the signature to the document, you’ll be able to save it to your PC.

Frequently Asked Questions The background of my signature image is visible against the document background. How can I fix this?

You should remove the background of your signature to make the signature completely blend into the background of your Word document, assuming it has been set to white, which it should be by default. To remove an image background quickly and painlessly, use chúng tôi You can also use Photoshop to remove an image background.

How To Transition From A Manager To A Leader

Five ways to frame our thoughts and actions as leaders

As marketers, there will inevitably come a point in many of our careers when we’ll be asked to step up from operating as individuals focused on specific tasks (e.g. SEO specialists, digital analysts, web developers) to managers responsible for a group of specialists (e.g. digital marketing manager).

Whether you make the move into management depends entirely on you and your personal drivers (and whether it’s right to promote people based on their technical skills is a debate for another day). But if you do decide to take the route into management, it’s important to consider the implications.

Management vs. leadership

Being an expert in your field does not necessarily mean you will be a good manager. The skills required for management are totally different from operating alone and if you are to succeed as a manager these must be taken into account. For example, if you’re managing a team you have to consider other people and achieve results not only by yourself but through others, too.

According to John Kotter, Konosuke Matsushita professor of leadership at Harvard University:

“Management is a set of processes that keep an organization functioning. They make it work today – they make it hit this quarter’s numbers. The processes are about planning, budgeting, staffing, clarifying jobs, measuring performance, and problem-solving when results did not go to plan.”

We can see from this definition that good, effective management is essential to ensuring a business functions efficiently and that people have clear goals and targets based on the organization’s objectives. However, what this definition does not include is any reference to ‘leadership’. And that’s because leadership is a very different quality. Kotter again:

“Leadership is about aligning people to the vision, that means buy-in and communication, motivation and inspiration.”

Management is often conflated with leadership, which can cause confusion within the workplace. Whilst management and leadership do work hand-in-hand, there are also clear differences (and overlaps):

“Companies face new leadership challenges, including developing Millennials and multiple generations of leaders, meeting the demand for leaders with global fluency and flexibility, building the ability to innovate and inspire others to perform, and acquiring new levels of understanding of rapidly changing technologies and new disciplines and fields.”

As part of our roles as managers, we may also be asked to lead. Many organizations see opportunity to develop leaders across different levels. In a report for Deloitte , the research team found that:

In other words, in order to compete effectively in a dynamic, global marketplace, organizations need to have leaders working in every part of the organization – we can no longer depend on senior management and leaders.

The importance of effective leadership

The term ‘leadership’ can be daunting to some. However, leadership does not necessarily mean shaping a grand vision, speaking to hundreds of people or steering an organization through a troubled time. For new managers, the leadership journey starts with small steps, for example how you lead and inspire those around you or set out a simple direction of travel.

Organizational consultant Paul Scadding uses a ‘5 Is’ model for effective leadership. This is a useful framework for breaking down some of the key areas that new managers can refer to in order to build their leadership skills:

Impact

How do you impact others? Do you energize, deplete, frustrate or panic others? Impact is not about being perfect but setting a daily intention as to how you hope to impact others.

How we speak and act is impacting everyone around us and it’s important to manage this in a way that is authentic to you and your chosen style of leadership.

Invest

Investing time and energy in those we manage is important and is a key component of effective leadership. Managers who invest stand out from those that don’t and make a disproportionately more positive impact on the team.

However, good leaders will also recognize when they are over-investing. A balance needs to be struck otherwise stress and burnout are potential consequences, which will limit us as leaders. If you’re concerned about over-investment, ask yourself the following questions:

Can you switch off once you leave work?

Do you go to bed worrying about conversations? Do you try to put off or avoid ‘difficult’ conversations?

Do you struggle to say ‘no’, create boundaries and priorities?

Do you micro-manage and restrict freedom for people to manage their own work and grow?

Are you a people pleaser? Are you able to give people what they really need?

Inspire

You don’t need to be Steve Jobs, Michelle Obama or Richard Branson to inspire others. To inspire others you need to be inspired yourself! Try this reflective exercise:

Who Inspires You As A Leader? List the core 5 qualities that you admire in them

If you’re struggling to think about where you can get inspiration, consider the types of things that has piqued your curiosity and imagination in the past:

What are you reading?

What are you watching?

What are you listening to?

Who are you spending time with?

Who are your role models?

Individualize

If you’re managing other people, you need to treat them as individuals with ideas, aspirations and ambitions of their own. New managers can sometimes fall into the trap of using others to meet their goals.

When managing more than one person, consider the differences between each individual. The key is to be adaptable. Some points to consider:

Get to know your line reports and what they need. You cannot treat everyone the same.

It’s too easy to judge by our own standards.

Other people have different levels of interest and investment than you .

Celebrated the things that make us different from one another.

You may struggle to meet someone where they are if you have never been through exactly the same experiences (e.g. redundancy, depression, anxiety etc.). Try to understand and at the very least be kind.

We often see people that don’t do, say or think the way we do as ‘difficult’.

Above all, people want to be seen and heard and know that they matter.

Innovate

“Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower”

– Steve Jobs

Innovation in this context is not about inspiring breakthrough product design or services, but thinking about what you can do differently as a leader within your role as a manager.

Standard line management practices do not always reflect good leadership. Some ideas to consider include:

Make leadership your own and develop your own style.

Instead of sitting down in a dull office, try ‘walking’ one-to-ones with your team.

Reframe language and be clear.

Share best practices with each other.

Lean on others for support, e.g. “How would you tackle this situation?”

Call on the experienced people in your team – you do not need to lead alone.

Conclusion

Management and leadership may be closely connected but there are clear differences between the two. Whilst management is primarily about delivering goals and targets efficiently, leadership is about recognizing that the people you’re working with are human beings with thoughts, feelings and aspirations that can be harnessed as part of a healthy, balanced working culture.

Whilst leadership may come more naturally to some people than others, it’s something we can all practice as part of our roles as managers. The 5 Is model is just one of several ways to shape our thinking and way of working to get us thinking beyond the minimum expectations of line managers.

How To Take A Full

Apple included a cool feature in iOS that allows users to take full-page screenshots in Safari. If you’ve ever wanted to send a screenshot that’s more than what’s shown on the screen, then you may want to consider sending a full-page screenshot.

The process is similar to taking a regular screenshot, but with a full-page version, you get to share more. There could be several scenarios where you don’t want to send the link to the web page. You can also take full-page screenshots on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox on Mac.

How to take a full-page screenshot in Safari on iOS

Taking a full-page screenshot of a webpage in Safari on your iOS device is fairly simple. Here’s how you can do it on your iPhone or iPad.

1) Launch Safari on your iPhone or iPad.

2) Take a screenshot as you would normally do by pressing the Volume Up + Power button. If you’ve got an iPhone with a Home button, then press the Home button along with the Power button.

3) Now tap the screenshot preview that appears on the bottom corner of the screen.

4) You should see two options for Screen and Full Page at the top. Select Full Page.

5) A new preview window will appear next to the screenshot, where you can scroll to see the entire web page.

6) Tap on Done to save the screenshot as a PDF. The screenshot will be saved as a PDF in the Files app.

The full-page screenshot of the Safari web page is now ready. Before saving the screenshot, you can also make changes to it. For example, you can crop the screenshot to remove any unwanted parts of the webpage. Here’s how to crop the full-page screenshot.

1) While in the screenshot interface, tap on the Crop button on top of the screen.

2) You will now be able to adjust the screenshot as per your requirement. Tap on Done.

3) Tap Done once again or hit the Share icon to save the screenshot as PDF to Files.

In addition to Safari, you can also take full-screen screenshots in other Apple apps like Notes (when you are inside a note), Mail (when you are inside an individual email), and the Files app (when you have opened a PDF).

How to take a full-page screenshot in Chrome or anywhere else on iPhone

Apple’s solution to take a full-page screenshot is limited to Safari and a few other in-house apps. But thanks to third-party apps like Picsew (paid version – $1.99), you can take scrolling screenshots anywhere you scroll vertically like Chrome, Firefox, Gmail, App Library, Messages, Reminders, and more.

Here’s how to take a scrolling, long-form full-page screenshot on any iPhone and iPad screen:

3) Be in the browser, app, or screen whose long screenshot you wish to take. From here, open the Control Center:

On iPhone with Face ID, swipe down from the top right corner.

On iPhone with a Home button, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.

4) Long-press the screen recording icon.

5) Select Picsew and tap Start Broadcasting. You have three seconds to tap any empty area in the Control Center to return to the screen whose long screenshot you want.

6) While Picsew is recording your screen (you will see a red pill shape or bar on top of your screen), scroll the page.

7) Once you have scrolled to the desired length (in the screenshots below, you can see I have scrolled from the top of the article to the bottom), tap the red pill shape or red bar from the top of your iPhone to stop the screen recording. At times, you might also see a notification from Picsew saying it has finished the screen recording.

8) Open Picsew from the popup or the Home Screen.

9) The app has already stitched several images one after another, creating a long screenshot. Optionally, you can use the tiny yellow pencil icon to adjust individual images. Once done, tap the share icon from the top right and export it as an image or PDF.

Here’s how the saved full-page, long screenshot looks in the iPhone Photos app:

I use Picsew daily on my iPhone and like it. For me, it’s worth the investment.

How To Test A Motherboard

In my 30 years of experience as a computer technician, a motherboard is one of the most challenging components to diagnose due to the number of components connected to it.

If a motherboard fails, you could have blue screens, freezing, beeps, inability to detect USB drives and other hardware, and more.  This guide will teach you how to test a motherboard with a multi-meter before installing other PC parts.

You will need the following tools to complete your motherboard diagnostics testing.

A Phillips screwdriver or power switch jumper

A multimeter to check voltages

A working PSU (Power Supply Unit)

A new CMOS battery if necessary

CPU thermal paste

Set the motherboard on a flat, non-conductive surface such as a wooden table.

Install the processor and apply thermal paste.

Attach the CPU cooler and connect it to the motherboard.

Place at least one RAM module into the slot labeled (DIMM 1).

Attach the GPU to the motherboard and connect the necessary power connector if necessary. Read your GPU manual to verify.

Plug the ATX 24-pin connector from the PSU (Power Supply) into the motherboard.

Connect the monitor to the HDMI connection on the side of the board for onboard graphics or into the GPU if it’s your primary display.

Plug the PSU power cable into a surge protector or wall outlet.

To turn on the computer, use a power switch jumper, or if you do not have one available, you can even use a screwdriver to complete the power circuit shown above.

After verifying a successful POST, turn the PC off by flipping the switch located on the power supply back to the off position.

If the computer boots to the BIOS, you are good to go. Unplug everything, and install the motherboard into your case and install everything as usual. If your motherboard did not POST, retry the steps again, and if it still fails, contact the motherboard manufacturer and request an RMA to get a new motherboard.

Motherboards can be one of the most stubborn components to diagnose due to the sheer number of tiny parts embedded in them. In my experience, when motherboards fail, they typically will not boot, power on, or anything. The following steps can help narrow down your symptoms.

The Power-On-Self-Test or (POST) happens each time you turn on your computer. If your computer is operating normally, you should continue the startup. If you are unable to complete the POST, then proceed to the next step.

Verify that your motherboard is not shorting out on your case. Verify that you have correctly installed stand-off screws in all the correct screw locations inside the case.

Check your system for possible overheating. Open the case and ensure that there is not dust covering the fans, components, and motherboard. If so, use a can of compressed air found at your local hardware store to clean it.

Listen for beep codes when booting your PC. These beep codes will help you identify the faulty component or issue. For a list of beep codes and what they mean, go here.

Use the BIOS to check for updates, download and install them. If no updates are available, restore or reset your BIOS to reverse all settings to default and restart the computer.

If you still cannot access the BIOS because your computer keeps restarting, Replace the CMOS Battery. If your PC continues into BIOS after battery replacement, your motherboard issues should end. But if they do not, continue diagnosis.

Finally, remove all components other than the CPU, the CPU Cooling Fan, and the RAM. If your motherboard boots and POSTs, you will need to add one piece of hardware at a time until you find the faulty component.

If you cannot diagnose your motherboard with the steps listed above, it is time to use a multimeter. You can purchase one at your local hardware store or on Amazon. This one at Amazon sells for less than $13 and works great.

If you have a multimeter, then you will be able to detect issues with the motherboard easily. Even if you have never used a multimeter in the past, I will walk you step-by-step on how to test your motherboard for component failure.

The first thing you want to look for with the multimeter is a short circuit. These are common issues and can happen when there might be a surge in electricity. Below we will be verifying the AC voltage of the motherboard.

Standard 24pin ATX pin layout

Next, remove the motherboard from the case and refer to the layout picture or this ATX 24-pin chart to find the PINs. Using the red lead, test each of the following: (3,5,7,15,17,18, and 19) must have a 0 reading. Anything else indicates a bad PSU connector.

The last test will require you to remove the ATX power adapter and the CPU from the motherboard. Test the same ATX pins located on the motherboard. Any reading other than 0 means there is a problem with the motherboard connector.

Multimeter

To check DC voltages, follow the steps below. The steps here are slightly different than AC voltages.

If you have found that the motherboard has failed, don’t try repairing it on your own. Even if a repair is successful, improper voltage regulation could destroy everything in your computer. It is always better to have an experienced electronic technician repair the motherboard or replace it than venturing to fix it yourself.

With the computer turned off, carefully probe the back of the connector using the black lead.  It should be in contact with one of the negative pins 15,17,18 or 19, registering a 0 voltage.

Use the red lead to probe and verify the following pins:  Pin 16 (green in color) reading between 3-5 volts and Pin 9 (purple color) reading 5 volts.

Now, start the PC.  Pin 16 (green color) should drop down to 0 volts.  If it doesn’t, this is indicative of a faulty switch.  (Turn off the PC)

Finally, use the red lead on Pin 8 (gray color) should read 5 volts.  Start the computer and press the reset button; now, the voltage will drop down to 0 volts, then go back up to 5 volts.  If not, this is a good indicator that you have a defective RAM slot, and you will need a new motherboard.

FAQs

You don’t have to have a CPU to verify that the motherboard is working and powering connected components like case fans and RGB lighting. I know because I have done this on numerous occasions.

How to test a capacitor on a motherboard?

Unfortunately, there is no way to test the capacitor on a motherboard without removing the capacitor itself. However, you can visually inspect each capacitor for rust, cracks, leaks, or bulges, and this will give you a good idea that the capacitor is damaged.

Can a motherboard be repaired?

A motherboard can be repaired by an experienced electronics technician in many cases and may still be less expensive than a replacement if it is an older PC. If you have to purchase a new motherboard, you may also have to replace the CPU and RAM.

Is replacing a motherboard worth it?

The fact that the motherboard is responsible for distributing controlled amounts of current throughout the computer and its peripherals makes it very worth it. A failing motherboard could cause surges of current that could potentially destroy your RAM, GPU, CPU, etc.

What happens if my motherboard is damaged?

If you just purchased your motherboard and it was damaged when you opened it or during installation, it should be under the manufactures warranty. You will need to call the manufacture and request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).

If you have had the motherboard for a long time and it is out of the warranty period, you will need to purchase a new one.

Wondering how to add a USB-C port to your laptop? We’ll explain you how a computer networking hub can give you an extra USB-C port for your laptop, and ease connectivity for multiple devices.

How to add a USB-C port to your laptop

Laptops, today, are more than just portable PCs. They are both power sources and data transmitters.

Most laptop owners almost always have two or more devices such as a tablet or smartphone, and these gadgets also rely on USB  ports to perform common tasks such as data transfer or charging.

For such users, a laptop may not offer much in terms of connectivity owing to the limited number of ports it comes with.  There is need for something extra that ensures everything is in one place, without the hassle of carrying extra cables, adapters, and finding extra power sources.

Unlike the usual USB-A and USB-B ports found on most PCs and laptops, the USB-C port is gaining more popularity because it enables faster data transmission, and quick charge for different devices.

If you’re looking to add a USB-C port to your laptop, don’t fret. Computer networking hubs, or simply USB hubs, are designed with users like you in mind.

A USB hub is a gadget with multiple USB ports on it, which you can plug into your laptop’s USB port, then use it with up to eight devices connected to the hub.

These hubs come with anywhere between three to eight ports, so you have the freedom and convenience of moving around with your laptop and other devices as you so wish.

When it comes to a USB hub, most users look for the following:

Ports that work whenever anything is plugged into them (and an indicator that shows they’re working)

Well-arranged ports that keep the desk organized and do not suck up much space

Minimum of three data ports

Speeds that do not drop off

A good price

READ ALSO: This new USB-C multi-port hub acts as a docking station for your Windows 10 laptop

There are two types of USB hubs: powered hubs, and non-powered hubs.

What you need if you have multiple devices, is the powered hub, which must be plugged into the computer to get power, then supply power to your other USB devices.

It is important to note that not all devices can run from USB hubs, so you’ll have to plug it directly to your laptop’s ports. However, your laptop will give you a warning message prompt in such a case, and recommend what to do when this happens.

If you have a small laptop case or bag, don’t worry. There are many small USB hubs available in the market that can comfortably meet your needs.

Like a Swiss Army knife, a multi-port hub has several extended ports that offer a variety of functions.

Some of the tasks you can fulfill while using this hub include:

Charging your phone

Fast data transfer

Charging your laptop (if you have a type-C connector)

Connect your keyboard, mouse, flash drive or hard disk

Stream HDTV, as the hub also has a HDMI port

SD and Micro SD memory card readers

The compact design of multi-port USB hubs effectively take up little desk space, and support high power devices, when connected to an external power source.

If you’re looking for a USB-C port hub that matches your connectivity needs, remember to check out our list of the best USB hubs for your laptop.
