Lava Magnum X604 is huge at 6 inches in size with substantial vertical bezels, but thanks to gently curved rear back (around the edges), it’s comfortable to hold in hand. The leather flipcover is good in quality and Lava has also bundled a scratch guard in the box for display protection. Considering the large footprint, it is slim enough but feels slightly heavy in hand. Power button is easily accessible on the right edge and headphone jack is present on the top.Processor and RAM
The processor used is 1.2 GHz quad core Broadcom chipset with VideoCore IV GPU and 1 GB RAM (more than 500 MB free). The chipset is the major negative factor in this device. UI lags were noticeable right from the start and this is expected to worsen in the long run. Antutu score is 14557 and nenamark score is 30.7 fps.
If you are interested in basic usage like watching some Youtube videos, basic social networking apps, basic games like temple run, etc, you wouldn’t be irked much. This device is not meant for high end or moderate gaming or other demanding tasks.Camera and Internal Storage
Internal storage is 8 GB out of which arround 850 MB is available for apps. Apps can be transferred to SD card as well. USB OTG is also supported and this allows you to store media files on a flash drive.User Interface and Battery
The phone runs on Android 4.4.2 kitkat, and the UI is mostly stock android. It comes with some standard set of preloaded apps but nothing much.
The battery capacity is 2800 mAh and the battery backup is good. You can get more than 5 hours of onscreen time. With moderate usage, you can comfortably last one day. We did see some unexpected battery drain with 3G on, but on WiFi the battery backup was good.Sound, Video Playback and Connectivity
The headphones that come in the box are not of very good quality. The loudspeaker was not too loud and the mesh is present on the rear side as well, which muffles the sound when the phone is resting on its back. You can play HD and full HD videos, but there was some lag while jumping the navigation bar when we were testing full HD videos. GPS locking takes slightly more time.Lava Magnum X604 Photo Gallery Conclusion and Price
Lava Magnum X604 is a well built device with decent display and good battery backup- an important parameter in 6 inch devices, but unfortunately, there is some noticeable lag in all aspects which leaves a bad taste. The device is meant for first time android users new to the ecosystem with basic usage requirements. The handset is available for 11,199 INR, a price where several big guns like Moto G and Zenfone 5 are retailing and which you can consider if you are willing to settle for a smaller screen size.

After what seemed like an immeasurable wait, I finally got my UPS delivery, and the Apple Watch is now in hand. Unfortunately, I only received one of the two watches that I purchased—a 38mm Apple Watch Sport with a white band. I’m not complaining though, at least I got something on launch day.
The Apple Watch Sport box differs from the Apple Watch collection and Apple Watch Edition collection. The Sport box is nice, but as others have shown, the Watch and Edition collections are even nicer.
As other have stated, the Sport band is much nicer than one may first assume, fluoroelastomer or not. It has a supple feeling that’s soft to the touch and feels great on the wrists. The black version of the Sport band is even better feeling.
Speaking of the band, it’s broken up into three parts for adjustable fitting. It also comes with an inductive charger (it’s plastic, unlike the metal versions featured with the Watch and Edition collections) and a tiny power brick.
The 38mm version of the Apple Watch is extremely small. I’m glad that this one won’t be my daily driver, as my 42mm Space Black Apple Watch Sport will assume that duty upon arrival.
Although three collections exist for the Apple Watch—the Sport, Watch, and Edition—it’s good to know that from a hardware perspective, all models of Apple Watch are pretty much the same. All of them sport the exact same technical hardware inside of the device.
Press and hold to invoke Siri
Turn to zoom, scroll, or adjust i.e. navigating within apps and traversing the Carousel Home screen interface
One of the cool things about the Apple Watch is its display, not only is the display an AMOLED screen, with great black levels, it’s also a button. The Apple Watch includes a feature called Force Touch, that allows you to firmly press on the screen to do things like changing the watch face or to see in-app options.
The display features the following gestures:
Unlike the iPhone and iPad, the Apple Watch is not multitouch enabled. Considering how small the screen is, that makes sense.
The rear of the Apple Watch
On the Apple Watch’s backside, you’ll find several notable features. You’ll see a speaker and microphone. These are used for music playback, Siri, Phone calls, etc.
You also have a heart rate sensor—those four little circles that rest against your wrist. These circles light up with a green color in order to calculate your heart rate.
The other circle that encompasses the four smaller heart rate sensor circle is the ring that the inductive charger pad aligns to. You simple rest your Apple Watch against this charger, and the charging begins. There is nothing to plug in on the Apple Watch itself.
Finally, you’ll find a pair of band release buttons. When you want to remove a band for cleaning, or swap between bands, use the band release buttons to easily do so.
One more thing
There is one more interface available on the Apple Watch that I’ve yet to mention, and that’s the diagnostic port. This port is located beneath the area where the swappable band locks into place.
The diagnostic port features six pins that allow a proprietary peripheral cable to connect to it. As of now, this port is only used by the geniuses at the Apple Store, and ships with a cover for protection against dirt, water, and debris. Whether or not that port will ever be used by the mainstream public remains to be seen. It’s possible that approved third-party bands could tap into this port for additional functionality.
As time goes on, we will no doubt learn other interesting facts about the Apple Watch hardware, but this is a good starting point if you’re brand new to the device.
What’s your favorite hardware feature of the Apple Watch? What feature surprised you? Has any feature disappointed you?

Most notable change which you first notice, is a curved display. This didn’t interfere with the way we use our phone, and you don’t have to worry about not liking it at all. Does it add any value? well, in my first day of usage, the curved design makes using the rear key so much better (you can even take screenshots using just one finger). The curved design and display tends to grow on you.
The 5.5 Inch display is a gorgeous panel with great vibrant colors and Quad HD resolution. LG says this is a ‘Quantum IPS LCD display’, with better contrasts and brightness. In our opinion, it is an awesome display close to perfection. The double tab to wake and sleep gesture also works noticeably better on LG G4 then it does on Zenfone 2 (though both lie in completely different league).Processor and RAM
LG chose Snapdragon 808 instead of Snapdragon 810 in this new flagship phone, as the 810 was bad mouthed, predominantly because of heating issues involved. Was it a wise choice? Yes. The LG G4 is blazing fast even with several apps open simultaneously. Is the heating gone for good? It does get warm time and again, but we haven’t encountered any excessive heating in our one day usage. There is 3 GB RAM on board and since multitasking and performance is smooth, you don’t need to lust for more.Benchmark Scores

Internal storage is 32 GB and around 22 GB is available at user end. For more demanding users, there is a MicroSD card slot which supports up to 128 GB expansion. USB OTG is also supportedUser Interface and Battery
As expe 5.1 Lollipop based LG Optimus UX 4.0 UI is loaded with features and the LG Keyboard, which is one of the best out there. We like the UI design and aesthetics, but that remains more of a matter of personal taste. As mentioned, there is much to like here including Dual Windows (2 Apps on one screen), smart settings (automation based on location and other context) and more.
The 3000 mAh battery overcomes the primary flay of LG G3 and renders great standby time and on screen time. You can comfortably last one day on a single charge. Quick charge is supported, but there is no wireless charging. The proposal for QHD display with great performance AND great battery backup seems too good to be true, but if reviews surfacing on the web and our limited experience is to be considered, LG has managed to accomplish this.

Xiaomi Mi3 is one of the best build phones you can find below 20,000 INR. It looks like a meticulously crafted slim Lumia device at first glance, perhaps because of the rounded side edges which also help with a firm grip. Mi3 is very sturdy and once you hold It in hand, it feels much different and nicer than what you would expect.
Xiaomi Mi3 is built from A Aluminum- Magnesium chassis and is only 8.1 mm thick. Outside is mostly plastic and vertical bezels on the front are slightly taller than what we like, but nothing that will upset you. The weight is also very well balanced.Processor and RAM
Processor used is Snapdragon 800 quad core clocked at 2.3 GHz. This is one of the best chipsets available and packs enough might to handle high end gaming and day to day tasks smoothly and in a power efficient manner.

The details and color was pretty good in low light condition but the brightness didn’t seem too great. Overall, it’s not the best when you compare to flagship phones, but it is one of the best in this price range and won’t disappoint casual photographers in anyway. The camera App is loaded with options which we will test in our full review. The front camera is also more than decent for selfies and video chat.User Interface and Battery Xiaomi Mi3 Photo Gallery Conclusion
Xiaomi Mi3 is definitely a great value for money device and is one of the best you can hope for in this price range. Only downside is non expandable storage. Well, nothing is perfect but Mi3 comes very close. We really liked what we saw with Xiaomi Mi3. The device will be available for purchase for 13,999 INR on 22nd July, same day Xiaomi announces Mi4. The Coolpad Cool 1 is a very good smartphone at Rs. 13,999. While it matches the rest of the competition in terms of core hardware specs, in a couple of areas it also exceeds those other phones.
